I’m Jed Billings, an Ojai REALTOR® with eXp Realty, proudly serving homebuyers and sellers throughout the Ojai Valley and Ventura County.

As a Marine Corps veteran and experienced real estate professional, I believe buying or selling a home should begin with listening, honest communication, and a thoughtful strategy. Whether you’re purchasing your first home, relocating to Ventura County, exploring a second home, or preparing to sell, my goal is to help you make informed decisions with confidence.

My connection to the Ojai Valley is personal. I married into a family with four generations of Ojai roots, and we moved back to the valley in 2024. That connection shapes how I approach real estate: with an appreciation for the people, neighborhoods, and lifestyle that make this community special.

As an Ojai REALTOR®, I take an education-first, relationship-driven approach to helping clients navigate the real estate market. My job isn’t to pressure you into a decision. It’s to provide the information, perspective, and guidance you need to make the decision that’s right for you.

My professional background includes real estate sales, new home construction, market analysis, and years of experience helping people navigate important decisions. That combination allows me to bring both a personal touch and an analytical perspective to every transaction.

Whether we’re evaluating a property’s value, comparing neighborhoods, reviewing new construction opportunities, or preparing a home for sale, I believe in clear communication, careful preparation, and thoughtful strategy.

Experience, Service, and Community

My approach to real estate is shaped by a career that spans real estate, market analysis, hospitality, and customer service. Before establishing Home with Jed in California, I worked with Texas Pride Realty Group, where I supported clients, collaborated with fellow agents, and helped develop market reporting and business strategies.

I’ve also worked in new home sales with several Southern California builders, giving me firsthand experience with new construction, builder processes, and the decisions buyers face when purchasing a newly built home.

As a Marine Corps veteran, I understand the importance of service, preparation, and accountability. I especially enjoy helping fellow veterans explore their homeownership options, including understanding the VA home loan process.

Community involvement is equally important to me. I serve as Chaplain of Ojai Valley Moose Lodge #1417 and the Moose Channel Islands District 14. I’ve also been appointed to the Oak View Park and Resource Center Benefit Assessment Oversight Committee.

For me, being an Ojai REALTOR® means more than working in the local housing market. It means being involved, building lasting relationships, and contributing to the community I call home.
